The two of us

Our little niece Margherita always says Uncle Andrew is “really, super big” and that he will always arrive at the finish line before Aunt Frenchy in everything they do, “because he has the longest legs!”

Aunt Frenchy fell in love with that kindly giant who traveled in space and time, and though he really does usually arrive before her, always knows to look back and wait for her – and to never boast or brag about his win.

Uncle Andrew, on the other hand, fell in love with Little Frenchy who taught him how to live every second of their life together with intensity, with love, and happiness unbounded.

We like to think about how we were born in two different, far away places, with the hidden objective of learning that refined art of patience, unknowingly awaiting our first meeting.

We like to think that – even during those years when we were strangers – it was anyway a time of love: for our families, our friends, for our work, for our lives.

We like to think that sharing makes each of us greater than two individuals…
And so we decided to wed!
And we are so happy to share with you, our friends and family, the joyousness of this decision!

We are truly happy to invite you to our wedding, which will be held on Saturday, the First of July, 2017. The ceremony will take place at 17:30 at Villa di Bivigliano - Via del Viliani, 84 - Bivigliano - Vaglia (FI).

The ceremony will be followed by a reception at Villa di Bivigliano, with an aperitivo, a seated dinner, dancing and other festivities!

Our little invitees will also be able enjoy the festivities with an entertainment program dedicated to them, with bubbles, balloon animals, a magic show, and more!

We will spend next Christmas in Japan.

Japan is a land where a unique civilization flowered and continues to prosper with its extraordinary contrast between tradition and modernity. We are fascinated by its natural wonders, by it incredible and varied cuisine, and by the meticulous and attentive nature of the Japanese themselves – a nature reflected in every aspect of their lives, from trains running perfectly on time, to their sublime works of art and architecture.
